The mistakes that cost interviews
All of these are fixable in ten minutes. Most CVs have at least three.
The quiet killers
Typo in your own email address. Unexplained date gaps. "Team player" with no evidence.
A role title with no company. A company with no dates. Both make the whole page feel unreliable.
Burying the strongest result at the bottom of the last page.
Fix order
1) Contact details correct. 2) Dates consistent. 3) Strongest result moved to the top of its role.
4) Cut anything you'd stumble on in an interview. 5) Read it aloud once — it catches more than re-reading does.
